What to expect afterwards
Swelling is part of how the treatment works and it can be significant — under the chin in particular can look noticeably puffy for several days to a couple of weeks. Tenderness, firmness and numbness in the area are all normal during healing. Do not book this close to an event.
Why it takes more than one session
Each session reduces a portion of the pocket. Most areas need two to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with results assessed by photograph between rounds rather than by memory.
